Boracay is a tropical island in the Philippines, an hour flight from Manila. It's 4km long, powder white sand beach and the crystal clear blue water is #1 of the world's best beaches. www.myBoracayguide.com is a company that ensures bookings for the Hotel in Boracay Island.
The reservation system on www.myBoracayguide.com was not very well built and unstable. We therefore rebuilt the system using the strong Code Ignitor Framework ensuring stability and security along with an SEO friendly code. The system is now working fine and we have one more happy client to our list

The team attended a two Day Training Workshop on "Effective Software Quality Assurance & Testing" was held by Business Beam at Marriott Hotel, Karachi
The main goal of the workshop was to help professionals get the most out of their software development effort. From building effective test cases all the way to agile testing, performing inspections and processes to ensure quality. The team thoroughly enjoyed the exposure and brought back a lot of material to update Quality Control at Genetech.

The Team is back from the NEPAL IT Match Making event and in general it was a marvelous event!
The Team, lead by our CEO, Mr. Turab H. Hemani and our Marketing Lead Mr. Mazhar Hassan, participated in the Match making event at Kathmandu, in Nepal. Over all the event was a success and they met many companies from Slovenia, Romania and Nepal. We are now in correspondence with some of those companies and hope to soon tie agreements with them to expand our market to the European Union.

GenetechSolutions will participate in the NEP-AL IT match making event to be held in Kathmandu from January 26 - 28, 2009
NEP-AL IT is a project that wants to contribute to the development of EU-Asia business relations, enhancing internationalization of SMEs in the ICT sector of the involved countries. The project operates under the Business Meetings and Matchmaking Events component of Asia Invest Program, through which a business network of medium/long-term sustained by a specifically-built web portal will be created.
The Title NEP-AL IT, stands for Nepal-Europe-Pakistan Alliance on Information Technology
International project co-financed by European Union within DG Europeaid ASIE/2007/1460-69). The Final Beneficiaries are 160 SMEs of which 110 European and 50 Asian distributed as follow: Italy 30 SMEs, Romania 20 SMEs, Latvia 30 SMEs, Slovenia 20 SMEs, Pakistan 20 SMEs, Nepal 30 SMEs. GenetechSolutions is one of the lucky SME chosen by the Karachi Chamber of Commerce (KCCI) to be a part of the project.
