The entertainment industry worldwide is worth over two trillion US dollars and the United States has one of the largest Media and Entertainment industries in the world. This industry requires creativity and innovation even a bit more than other industries. Dearing Acting Studio is a company that works at the intersection of education and entertainment. Their niche formula of passion, love, and mastery has allowed them to venture into coaching for elite performers, business training, high-end casting services as well as ongoing acting classes for youth, teens, and adults. They are based in the US with a physical studio but their online classes and events are available for a global audience.
Mathew Dearing, the founder of Dearing Studio, hired Genetech Solutions to build a content-driven website for his business with eCommerce and course management capabilities. Since then, the team at Genetech Solutions has been managing and maintaining the website and providing both design and development services so that Mathew can focus on growing his business.

We worked collaboratively with the team at Dearing Studio to create design ideas and also, brainstormed and discussed features that were must-haves for the website.
We used weekly and monthly milestones to measure our progress but the methodology stayed Ad Hoc. Our team consisted of a Project Manager, two developers, one designer, and a tester.
Testing was done internally as well as on the client’s end to ensure that everything is working flawlessly, we are now in the maintenance phase and have been helping the client with creating and launching new content, as well as adding new features to the solution.
The outcome of this project is a secure, user-friendly, and scalable learning management system to train doctors and paramedical staff on the diagnoses, treatment, and prevention of Tuberculosis all over the country.
Currently, it has one course with eight modules, each module will take at least an hour of work from the learner. A module can be on-demand lecture-based with quizzes based on MCQs or case-study-based where you can work on cases to hone your skills.
Learners will have to secure at least 70% marks to go to the next module and they have up to two attempts for each module. They also have to attempt a pre-evaluation quiz before starting the courses so that they can compare their knowledge after completing all eight modules.
At the end of all modules, they can get a certification, which will be generated by support staff from the backend after verifying the Doctor’s credentials. Doctors will also earn 6 CME Credit hours for have completing this course.
